Our Medical Director supports the team and upholds a positive teamwork environment in which our veterinarians and staff deliver quality medicine and exceptional client service. While partnering with the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership for the practice, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring medical regulatory compliance.

You Will Love

• Supporting the DVM staff in their professional development and skills training, while providing clinical and administrative guidance for the practice's the medical team 
• Partnering with your regional operations manager to ensure compliance with regulations, assist in the preparation of annual planning strategy, and develop a vision for the growth of the practice
• Partnering with local hospital leadership to lead the team, ensuring a culture of teamwork, high quality medicine, and financial success for the clinic

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university, or equivalent 
• Active licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas
• 5+ years of practice experience preferred
• Positive and effective leadership 
• A strong ability to manage staff and outcomes with emotional intelligence
• Commitment to the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
• Experience effectively delegating tasks and achieving results with practice team members
