Medical Director Opportunity at an Emergency Vet Hospital in Austin, TX!
Salary & Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the South Austin veterinarian team
- Develop, implement, and oversee essential medical services
- Advise on best practice clinical operations and staff efficiency
- Ensure exemplary delivery of clinical services and client experience
- Foster strategic relationships with the referring veterinary community
- Provide clinical mentoring, coaching, and training for staff
- Evaluate and improve clinical policies and procedures
- Monitor medical quality and report findings to senior management
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Active Texas license or ability to obtain one
- Experience as an Emergency Veterinarian or Board-Certified in medical oncology, emergency & critical care, surgery, radiology, or internal medicine
- At least 2+ years of clinical, scientific, or industry experience in a high-volume environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team in a fast-paced setting
- Innovative thinker focused on continuous improvement
Schedule:
- 4-day work week with dedicated admin time for leadership responsibilities
